Since I'll be going back to Kanagawa for a short visit to my family this weekend, I've spent most of my free time running all over Tokyo looking for things that my sister requested me to get her. In the middle of my errands, I've found a rather nice resting spot in the middle of Shinjuku, overlooking the hustle and bustle of the city.

The view was wonderful and I found a delicious new drink to enjoy as well. On that note, everyone, please remember to drink lots of liquids and dress appropriately in this hot weather.

You too, Yukimura-kun? There seems to be no end to all these requests.. but as tiring as it may be, their smiles at the end are worth it. But yes, you're right, hence, the shopping trip. I'm just glad that I could find everything in one area this time unlike before.

I think I might ask my parents if I can take her with me to New York. Under the strict instructions that she can't go off on her own. That way I don't have to make room in my bag for souvenirs.

But I agree. I adore my sister, so seeing her happy makes everything worth it.

That's a good plan. Besides the luggage space, you won't have to worry about searching for things anymore. I'd do the same with mine but she has quite a bit on her plate, even in during summer.

Exactly. And it's only a matter of time before they stop asking things that within our reach.

I think she'd enjoy the trip. It might also get her to relax slightly on me taking her to Paris.

Or they ask for things we don't want to get them.

There's a lot of things to do in New York. But why not Paris? It seems like the initial preferred option between the two.

I dread the day that happens.

I've turned her down the last few times because Paris is in the middle of school and my parents would never let me hear the end of it if she skipped three weeks of classes while I'm at a tournament. So, New York it is. Maybe I'll take her when she graduates high school.

Well, depending on her preferences, you can always suggest she not date a person you don't think is good enough for her.

That is an unfortunate situation. Anyhow, New York is a good compromise, and if ever, Paris as a post-graduation trip is something to look forward to.

It's alright, I'm not too worried about that. I'm sure whoever she chooses to be with will be someone worthy of her. But if not, then that's simple enough to rectify.
