Since I'll be going back to Kanagawa for a short visit to my family this weekend, I've spent most of my free time running all over Tokyo looking for things that my sister requested me to get her. In the middle of my errands, I've found a rather nice resting spot in the middle of Shinjuku, overlooking the hustle and bustle of the city.

The view was wonderful and I found a delicious new drink to enjoy as well. On that note, everyone, please remember to drink lots of liquids and dress appropriately in this hot weather.

Despite the sparse trees, the sun's bearable and the wind's very cool. If you'd like, I could accompany you to visit the place. I'm sure you'd enjoy the view as well.

It does actually! I've stopped drinking several times just to make sure that I wasn't merely drinking regular iced coffee. There's a milk tea version if you're interested as well.

that sounds like it will be strange in the way that is fun to try. i will get one of each and then see which one feels more like the normal version.

It's a surprising spot, isn't it? The concept is similar although I've yet to try clear Pepsi.

Based on the science behind these drinks, perhaps it will lack some of the body that is essential to enjoyment of a brewed cup. I will give it a try though.
