Exam season is coming and sometimes, our usual spots aren't the most conducive of study areas with the influx of other students joining in the fray to cram some last minute reviews. On the other hand, one's corner can become the worst place to be in especially when they have rules such as no food or beverages. Although reasonable, the brain cannot function without any nutrients. Or in my case, caffeine.

As such, here's a short list of some of my favourite cafés to hit the books at:

1) Niko and...

Not only is the food delicious, but each seat has its own plug and the café is well-lit. Plus there's free wifi in case you need to look up anything for class.

2) Lattest

Although it may seem small, Lattest is has plenty of seating and it's a quiet place that's good to get some work done. Every time I come here, I find myself admiring the gorgeous latte art on my drinks. On a side note, they do have free wifi as well.

3) Café Trois Chambres

It may seem a bit old-fashioned but the exterior provides a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that makes it seem as if time has stopped. Which, is what we all need when we're perpetually counting down the seconds towards exams. Aside from it's beautiful interior, their cheesecakes are some of the best I've tried and their coffee is simply superb.

That last one looks like it came from another era. It definitely looks like a nice quiet place to get work done.

Hey dear husband, if you drink so much coffee that you have a heart attack, can I have your bedsheets?

It's fine, I'll just come in and share them with you. Rub my body oils over them so that they're essentially mine anyway.

I've actually been to the first two~ Haven't tried the second one... I wouldn't even think to really go with it being so old-fashioned, but it'd probably be super conducive to studying. It looks like it has a great atmosphere.

Good luck on your exams! Is there such thing as student who isn't high on caffeine?

Is it an older demographic who go mostly? Or do you still see a wide variety of people?

Thank you, I appreciate that. ♥ And you do speak the word of God, hahaha~

You inspired me to look up what the magazine "BiRD" is about and... well, I'm no closer to the answer, but there are a lot of bird enthusiasts out there. ☆

Might have to try the first two since the thirds been covered. You're right, the cheesecake was excellent.

I wonder what you get like when you're having caffeine withdrawl, Hiroshi-kun...

I was pretty happy with it.

At the point where somewhere does not allow food or beverage, isn't that when you turn to direct lines into the veins?

I will check these places out. Thank you for the recommendations.

Very effective. Cost effective, as well, since you don't have so much trying to quench your thirst.

I'm certain they will. Thank you again.

i will keep that in mind! is there anything specific you think i would like to see most there, or is it more of a wandering thing?

Consider this: not studying at places that feed your addiction.
